OUR STORY
2024 — Moritech Founded
Moritech was established in response to the closure of the Engineering Department at Massey University, which left a significant gap in R&D support for the region. Recognizing the need to sustain local engineering innovation, Moritech was founded to provide prototyping and technical expertise to researchers and institutions in the Manawatū.
2025 — Expanding Research Support
Moritech’s capabilities expanded to support other research institutions in the region, building partnerships and delivering specialized engineering systems for science, agriculture, and technology research.
Present — Empowering Local Innovation
Today, Moritech works with local businesses and individual innovators to accelerate early-stage R&D, helping clients test ideas, develop prototypes, and bring products closer to market. Our mission remains simple: to make advanced engineering accessible and impactful for our community.
